Winter Fuel Payment 2025 / 2026

Did you receive the Winter Fuel Payment from the Government in the last tax year?

Households automatically received £200.00, or £300.00 where there is someone over the age of 80.

If your taxable income was more than £35,000 in 2025 / 2026 you may need to repay this.

Taxable income includes earnings from pensions, employment or self-employment and non-ISA savings interest.

It does not include capital gains or ISA income.
