Register of People with Significant Control (PSC's)

The rules relating to PSC's have been updated with effect from 26 June 2017.

If you are a Company Director or Company secretary, new rules came into force with effect from 26 June 2017. PSC's are individual shareholder who own more than 25% of a company's share capital or has more than 25% of voting rights. Please click the link below for further guidance. Failure to comply, failing to provide accurate information, or failure to provide information within the time deadline is a criminal offence and may result in a fine or prison sentence of up to two years.

Companies must enter new information on their PSC register within 14 days and provide the updated information to Companies House within a further 14 days once it has become aware of a change, obtained all the information needed to enter on its own register and confirmed the information if it relates to an individual.

Please ensure that you notify us of any changes so that we can meet the necessary deadlines.

Please get in contact with us if you have any questions on this topic. We have attached HMRCs' guide on this below for further details;
