National Living Wage

National Living Wage

From 1st April 2016, all employers will need to mark sure they are paying staff correctly with the introduction of the National Living Wage ("NLW")

Any Employee aged 25 and above (excluding those in the first year of an apprenticeship) will be legally entitled to a wage of at least £7.20 per hour. The Government have indicated that the NLW will be enforced as strongly as the current National Minimum Wage.

Don't forget that all staff aged under 25 are already entitled to the National Minimum Wage!
