2018 Spring Statement

With Chancellor Philip Hammond recently presenting his 2018 Spring Statement, you can now download our free newsletter which summarises the forthcoming changes that may impact you and your business.

A number of key changes are coming into effect for the 2018/19 tax year, including the reduction in the Dividend Allowance to £2,000 for Director-Shareholders, the significant rise in benefit-in-kind tax rates for employers who provide company cars to employees and the compulsory rise in the minimum employer pension contributions to 2%.

There has also been a significant emphasis on integrating VAT reporting for the upcoming 'Making Tax Digital' system, ahead of its introduction in April 2019.
