The new Chancellor of the Exchequer, Philip Hammond, has issued the 2016 Autumn statement and spending review. Key areas highlighted in this year's statement discuss the increase in Personal Allowance, the National Living Wage & National Wage increase, and Corporation Tax reduction.
On the 29th September 2016 we held our annual MacMillan coffee morning, open to all our clients, colleagues & the public. In total we managed to raise £271.50! (an increase on the previous years £252.00) with the help from all providers of cakes and sweet treats.
Currently, a dividend payment of £9,000 represents gross income of £10,000 with a 10% tax credit which covers your liability unless you are a higher rate taxpayer.
